A Start-up Bio-CNG Plant is Seeking Investment in Jamnagar

A promising Bio-CNG start-up, established in 2025, is seeking an investment of ₹5 crore to commission a state-of-the-art Bio-CNG plant. The project is set on a 4-acre owned premises, fully furnished and equipped for large-scale operations. With a total project value of ₹15 crore, the promoters plan to enter into a joint venture post-investment and secure additional funding to complete the commissioning phase. The plant is projected to produce 3 tons of Bio-CNG per day and has strategic collaborations in place with GAIL and HPCL for off-take and technical support. The supply chain is secured through partnerships with over 10 agri-waste suppliers, ensuring steady raw material inflow. The estimated annual revenue stands at ₹8 crore with an attractive profit margin of 30%. The project will create direct employment for 18 people. Investment proceeds will be utilized to complete the establishment and operational commissioning of the plant, making it a high-potential, sustainable energy venture with strong commercial viability.
